1.3 COURSE CANCELLATIONS
When you make your booking you are entering into an agreement with us. Please note the cancellation policy before committing to booking a place on our courses.

We confident that all courses will be completed in the allocated time and it is very rare for students to not complete a course due to weather. However, if a course cannot be completed in the allocated time due to unsuitable weather conditions, students can join a future course to complete the requirements at no additional charge.
All courses must be completed within 12 months of course commencement. Please make arrangements with us prior to the 12 months expiry period to avoid paying any additional fees to complete your course.

2. TANDEM PARAGLIDING FLIGHTS & GIFT VOUCHERS
2.1 PASSENGER REQUIREMENTS
Tandem passengers must be a minimum of 11 years old, weigh between 30-120 KG and be comfortable walking briskly / jogging 4-5 steps.
Before flying, all passengers must sign an insurance waiver and SAFA (Sports Aviation Federation of Australia) membership form. This is done electronically on site with your tandem pilot. Passengers under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian present to sign the insurance waiver on their behalf. Refusing to complete the waiver will result in the cancellation of the flight and no refund will be given.
Suitable footwear such as runners, training shoes or other enclosed shoes is recommended. A light jacket is also recommended as the temperature decreases with altitude.
Passengers are not permitted to fly under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If we suspect this is the case then the flight will be cancelled due to safety and insurance requirements and no refund will be given.
2.2 WEATHER CONSIDERATIONS
Tandem flights are a weather dependent activity so there may be delays or changes to your flight if weather conditions change or are unsuitable for flying.
For example, on the day of your booking, if the weather conditions change prior to launching we may need to postpone the flight until conditions improve on the day. Or, if the weather conditions are unsuitable for flying, we will need to re-schedule to another suitable date.
We kindly ask for your patience, understanding and flexibility should any changes to your booking be required due to changing or unsuitable weather conditions. The weather is out of our control and your safety is our top priority.
For QLD tandem flights, we recommend customers organise their transportation with ample buffer time to account for potential weather delays. We suggest allowing at least 60-90mins from your booking time to allow for the signing of all documentation, pre-flight briefing, possible weather-related delays and actual flying time. Missed transportation due to weather is unfortunately not eligible for compensation.
2.3 CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
- If you need to cancel or reschedule your flight, at least 24 hours’ notice is required.
- If you cancel your flight within 24 hours of your flight time, your payment will be forfeited.
- If we cannot fly due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will reschedule your flight free of charge.
2.4 GIFT VOUCHERS
Tandem flight gift vouchers:
- Can be redeemed for tandem flights only.
- Are valid until the expiry date.
- Are not redeemable for cash.
- Are non-refundable.
- Can be transferred to another passenger.
